My fall season was filled with amazing engagement sessions in Fort Wayne, like this one with Jenna & David. I love shooting there because the city provides so many incredible locations for couples looking for their engagement photos. From the local parks to downtown, there is a wide variety of options to fit each couple’s individual style.
Jenna & David are both from Bluffton, Indiana, and the two met when they were just in middle school… but they went to separate schools and were dating each other’s best friend at the time. Jenna shared that during high school, the four would meet at McDonald’s to hang out, and Jenna & David started dating on the day of her high school graduation.
David had moved to Fort Wayne for school, and since he had already established himself there, Jenna decided to join him. In May, David proposed to Jenna right after his college graduation, and these two are looking forward to their wedding at The Charles in September 2019.
Metea County Park in Fort Wayne is quickly becoming a top spot to share with my engaged couples as an idea for their session, because there are just so many different areas to explore. There are tall grasses, beautiful flowers, wooded areas, and open fields, and they all make for the perfect variety for engagement sessions.
As luck would have it, every night I had an engagement session in Fort Wayne this fall, it would be so hot, and Jenna & David’s engagement session was no exception. In fact, it was so hot and muggy, we had to keep out of the grass to avoid getting eaten alive by the mosquitos. These two handled it like champs, and though we had one of the quickest engagement sessions on record, they ended up with some gorgeous engagement photos to share and use at their wedding reception.
