When I first contacted Jodie & Aaron to plan their session, Aaron is actually the one who made the suggestion for their summer engagement session at Metea County Park. I hadn’t been there before, but after two engagement sessions shot there this fall, I’m dying to shoot there again soon!
Jodie grew up in Warsaw and graduated from college in June. She and David first met through a mutual friend, who she was dating at the time. After the two broke up, Aaron reached out to Jodie, and said, “There aren’t many good girls left in this world, and I don’t want to let you get away.” Cue those waterworks!
On their first date together, Jodie knew that Aaron would be the man she married, and she was right! After starting to date in March, Aaron popped the question three months later in June.
They are looking forward to their March 2019 wedding at Sylvan Cellars – becoming husband and wife one year after they first started dating! They both visited the venue previously before they started dating, and Jodie already knew it was where she wanted to get married someday. After getting engaged, they went to check it out and ended up booking it!
We had the most perfect weather in August for their engagement session, with a beautiful, warm sunset, and Jodie had some great outfit choices that coordinated well with the locations within the park. I loved getting to know Jodie & Aaron, while laughing and adventuring with the two.
