One of my favorite sessions this season was Amanda and Mark’s sunset couples session at Holcomb Gardens in Indianapolis. Amanda is one of my best friends, and I’ve known her for what feels like forever. Five years ago, they trusted me to capture their beautiful wedding day, so it was so fun to get to photograph them again a few years into marriage.

They booked their session last year during my Black Friday sale, and we chose the perfect fall weekend to photograph their session. The lighting was amazing, the leaves were still at their peak, and the temperature was just right. I had a blast exploring Holcomb Gardens with the two of them, chasing the pretty light together.
These two have lived in a few different places in their five years of marriage, most recently moving from Chicago to Jeffersonville at the end of July. They had moved to Chicago for Amanda to attend Moody Bible Institute, and now she’s about a month out from finishing her degree!
I loved that these two kept laughing all throughout their session, which made for some amazing photos. We had the best sunset to wrap up their session, and I’m so excited to share these highlights from their session!
