Amanda and Skyler first started dating in September 2014 and quickly fell in love. In November 2018, Skyler asked Amanda to be his wife, and of course she said yes! These two were game for adventuring with me for their Foster Park engagement session in Fort Wayne, and we had an absolute blast hanging out on a pretty spring evening together.

I first met Amanda and Skyler in April 2019 over coffee at Starbucks in Fort Wayne. They shared all about their two sweet boys – Brayden and Dominic – who were 8 and 4 at the time. A few short weeks later, Amanda reached out to me and let me know they were expecting another sweet baby to add to the Slone team! With the happy news, they decided to postpone their wedding from August 2019 to August 2020, and I’m thrilled to be able to celebrate their big day with them in just a few short months, where all three boys will play a special role in their celebration.
Amanda and Skyler let me know they weren’t sure how to pose in front of the camera and were a little worried about what they might look like, but all those fears melted away as we got started and chatted throughout their session. By the end, these two were just loving on each other in the sweetest ways and I was so happy to get to capture their natural interactions with one another. With three kids at home, I know these two really enjoyed a much-needed date out of the house to just wander around and enjoy a quiet car ride home together.
Foster Park in Fort Wayne is such a great location because there are miles and miles of land to explore, along with a footbridge, open areas with gorgeous, large trees, and plenty of greenery to make for perfect backgrounds. I loved getting to explore the park with these two, and they were up for anything I suggested!
