After bad weather caused us to reschedule twice this fall, a gorgeous November evening welcomed us for the Dieners’ family session. I was so excited to get to capture their family portraits as the sunset poured gorgeous golden hues over the water, during their Kokomo fall creekside family session.
I’ve known Ben and Chrissy for a number of years, meeting through two separate small groups a number of years ago. Since moving closer to my old hometown, we’ve been able to hang out more often, which has been awesome. I enjoy getting to witness Ben and Chrissy as parents to these precious kiddos.
Chrissy had a few ideas for some of the portraits, inspired from a previous session or two from when their daughter was quite younger. Now that their infant son has entered their family, they wanted to recreate some of those images. I loved the idea, because it is a perfect way for families to document the beautiful passing of time and how their little ones have grown.
Even with temperatures on the chilly side as the sun began to set, both kids were happy as could be during our time together. It was so easy for Chrissy and Ben to get either one of them to grin; it is obvious that the kids are just as enamored with their parents as they are with their kids.
It was a pleasure getting to capture your beautiful family, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the sneak peeks!
