Danielle and Matt were married on the most perfect fall day, surrounded by their closest friends and family. After meeting through mutual friends a few years ago, these two quickly fell in love, got engaged last July, and got married in an elegant burgundy and gold Kokomo wedding this fall. The joy that radiated between the two of them during the day made it clear these two were meant for each other.

Danielle and her bridesmaids got ready at a local hotel, which made for the perfect spot for all the detail photos before the start of the wedding day. I loved how Danielle so carefully chose her details for the day and they worked so flawlessly together. Her bouquet was made completely of wooden flowers, designed and crafted by Southern Blooms Co and paired perfectly with the bridesmaids’ bouquets. She chose sparkly Kate Spade Keds shoes for comfort and beauty, which perfectly paired with her wedding gown with undertones of rose, picked out by her mother.
After the girls were dressed, we headed out from the hotel to the wedding venue for Danielle and Matt’s first look. When Danielle tapped Matt on the shoulder, he turned around with the biggest grin and kissed her cheek before starting their portraits. Their ceremony was even more special, and I loved the unity sand ceremony where they poured sand into an etched glass container with their name and wedding date.
After the ceremony, the reception kicked off with a sweet prayer from Danielle’s mother followed by a delicious meal catered by Main Street Cafe. Best man Justin and maid of honor Ericka gave touching toasts for best wishes for the couple, which of course were filled with funny stories to keep their guests laughing throughout the evening. Danielle and Matt shared a sweet first dance, before opening the dance floor for their guests for the rest of the evening. The dance floor was filled for the entire evening, with fun dance moves and laughter from their guests.
We wrapped up their perfect wedding day with some portraits right as the sun was beginning to set, which turned out to be my favorite portraits from the day. The lighting was divine, and I loved that we could capture those final moments before they wrapped up their reception.
Danielle and Matt, thank you so much for choosing me to capture this amazing day to start the next chapter of your lives together. I’m so excited to see where life takes the two of you, and I hope these photos help you to always remember and cherish this amazing day you shared with your family and friends.
