When I first chatted with Nancy and Aaron about their wedding day, I couldn’t help but laugh and be in awe as Nancy shared about how the two met and fell in love. Getting married in February, we scheduled their cozy fall engagement session in Kokomo to make sure we could have a little of the warmer fall weather.

Nancy and Aaron’s love story first began with a blind date in March 2018, when Aaron accompanied Nancy to a wedding at Bread and Chocolate in Goshen. Nancy was tired of attending weddings alone, so she asked Aaron’s cousin to set her up with a date. My favorite part is that the two chose Bread and Chocolate as the venue for their own wedding day, fittingly enough, coming full circle to where their story began.
They began officially dating in June 2018, and the rest is history. Aaron asked Nancy to be his wife in August 2019 at the Goshen Dam, where they had their first date, and they are just excited to do life together as a married couple and live all of life’s adventures together.
We had a rather cloudy, gray evening for their engagement session in Kokomo, but my goodness, these two couldn’t have been cuter! It was obvious very quickly that these two just enjoy being together, and joy radiates between them. I spent most of the session laughing with them, and they required little posing because they are so naturally interactive with one another.
We chose a local park for their session that they are familiar with, and we had so many great options just within the park for their photos. Since they enjoy grabbing a cup of coffee together, we traveled downtown to get a cup of coffee before wrapping up their session. These two made my job super easy to capture so many incredible images of them, and I’m excited to share their final gallery very soon!
