Oh my goodness, I’m so excited to share Delaney and Parker’s sunset engagement session at Holcomb Gardens! All of my couples are fun, but the amount of joy and laughter these two shared through their engagement session left my cheeks hurting from laughing so much at the end of the night.

Delaney and Parker both went to Manchester University but they did not meet there. Parker had graduated a year before Delaney, and he moved to Tennessee for his masters. They happened to follow each other on Instagram, and one day she posted a quote on her stories and Parker commented. But after she replied, the conversation stopped. She posted another quote and they started having a conversation that turned into talking a lot. At that point, they started texting back and forth, and the rest was history.
They had about a 9-hour drive between them for most of their dating relationship, but in March 2020, Delaney had planned to visit him around his birthday. She didn’t really want to do to the drive alone, so Parker flew up to meet her in Fort Wayne and he asked her parents if he could propose. Because the pandemic was starting, they were still trying to decide if Delaney should go, but they made the drive back to Tennessee together to celebrate Parker’s birthday. Parker proposed on Monday, and because of the pandemic, Delaney started the drive back to Indiana on Tuesday right after the engagement.
They spent a number of months apart due to the pandemic, but they are so excited to be together and planning their wedding for next May!
We had such a blast during their session, and these two were just so full of joy and laughter for the entire session. It made for the most fun session, and I loved getting to celebrate their engagement with them. It was such a pleasure to get to know them better and hear more about their wedding day plans.
