Spring Indianapolis Wedding at Just Pop In! | Maren + Paul

After months of planning, Maren and Paul were married in the most beautiful spring Indianapolis wedding at Just Pop In! They gathered their family and closest friends in the upstairs of the restaurant, and they pledged their life and love to one another before celebrating with cake, tacos, and mimosas.

When I first met with Maren and Paul, I remember Paul joking that this was the first time him and Maren were meeting each other. They had first met online a few years ago, and they got engaged in November 2019. They had taken a trip to Paris, and while they were at the Eiffel Tower, Paul asked Maren to marry him. She was completely surprised, only realizing what was happening a minute or two before he asked.

When I asked them what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, Paul said he was looking forward to seeing Maren and looking into her eyes as they exchanged vows. It was clear when he turned around to see Maren for the first time that it was worth every moment of anticipation.

We started the day early at Paul’s house where Maren and Paul got ready. The temperature was absolutely perfect, with a light breeze and soft light, as I photographed the details on their front porch.

We headed to Holliday Park for their first look and portraits. They often visited this park while dating and engaged, so it was special to be able to come back and take their photos as a soon-to-be married couple there, as well. These amazing brick ruins are on one end of the park, and it made for the perfect location for their first look. Maren tapped Paul on the shoulder, and a big grin spread across his face as he took the sight of her in her wedding dress.

After their portraits, we headed to Just Pop In!, which is an amazing popcorn shop in Broad Ripple. Their ceremony and reception took place in the upstairs portion of the building. The space was absolutely beautiful, and with a few touches of florals from The Flower Boys, it was the perfect place for Maren and Paul to tie the knot.

After the ceremony, these two shared in cutting the cake and enjoying mimosas and tacos with their family and friends. I loved how they made sure the reception was exactly what they wanted — spending time with those they love and enjoying good food and drink together.

These two are the sweetest couple, and I know they will share a lifetime of love and happiness together. It was such an honor to be a part of their wedding day. Maren and Paul, I wish you both nothing but the best and all the adventures life can offer. Congratulations, and enjoy your sneak peeks!
