Potters Bridge Park Family Session | The Kuligs

In the days before she became a wife and mother, Leslie and I attended Ball State University together. In fact, Leslie helped lead a Bible study through Cru’s campus ministry that I was a part of during my last year at Ball State. I was so happy to be able to work with her sweet family after knowing her for a loooooooong time … like nine years!

We had gorgeous weather for our time together, despite the 90-degree weather that has recently hit Indiana – so hot! But even with the perfect conditions, the kiddos made me work for it. Every time I tried to coax as smile from Ephraim, he had that little sly smile where he was just trying to keep from smiling.

Eventually, we stopped the posing and we just ran around the field playing for about an hour, and that was the most fun we had… except when we went to the playground equipment. Ephraim and Camille just smiled, fell down, and laughed the entire time. We even found the home of a spider that Scott picked up and showed the kids. Ephraim was so fascinated by it, he wouldn’t even leave.

So grateful for amazing clients like the Kuligs that make my j-o-b not feel like work. I’m smiling from ear to ear as soon as I leave sessions like this one, and it never goes away while I’m editing just because they are so fun and adorable!
