Potters Bridge Park Engagement Session | Amanda & Mark

Amanda and Mark’s love story is one for the books. What first started as unreciprocated feelings slowly – by the grace of God – became a relationship founded on their love of Christ.

At the beginning of their story, the only way Mark could see Amanda was if he came to Minnetrista in Muncie and bought coffee at the farmer’s market where she was working for her aunt and uncle’s coffee business. Without fail, Mark traveled the 45 minutes into Muncie each week, buying a caramel latte, then drove home just to see Amanda – missing only one or two weeks while he was on vacation.

Coffee began brewing their relationship, so we knew it was important to incorporate it into their engagement session. We drove down to Noblesville to Noble Coffee & Tea, where we had the entire coffee shop to ourselves. No matter what I asked them to do, it was hard to capture a photo without smiles spread across their faces.

I feel so privileged to have watched this relationship unfold before my very eyes as Amanda and I were roommates when her and Mark started officially dating.  Now I have the honor of photographing their wedding in September, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to capture the start of their life together.
