When Marla asked me to capture some photos to announce their pregnancy, I knew this session would be one for the books. Marla and Jacob will be first-time parents in August 2018, and this is a long awaited answer to their prayers. We knew we had to work fast, though, because Marla was 13 weeks pregnant and they needed to finally unzip their lips with their friends! We went to one of my favorite year-round locations for their Kokomo maternity session, and we had the whole property to ourselves since it was so chilly!
Even I had a hard time waiting to share their photos until they shared with their friends. While the day was quite chilly and gloomy, I’m glad Marla and Jacob trusted me when I said the photos would turn out beautiful… because the colors and tones we had during this session were phenomenal.
These two are a dynamite couple, and I know that they will be amazing parents to Baby Jones. With Jacob’s sense of humor and Marla’s sweet personality, I know this baby will be unbelievably loved. I can’t wait to see whether it’s a girl or boy and start dreaming up that newborn session for August.
