September was the month of unusually warm weather for us here in Indiana. On this particular evening, storms were brewing out to the west of us, so we pushed up the start time of their session in hopes of beating the rain. Dora had picked the perfect backdrop for their Kokomo farm extended family session, and I was so excited to get to explore in their woods.
Once I arrived on the Conwell farm, I was met with some of the sweetest, kindest people I’ve ever met. Dora greeted me with a cool bottle of water, drove me out to their woods where they had perfectly placed their tractor, and we began scoping out the area for some good spots for their session.
As we waited on the rest of the family to arrive, Dora and I talked in her cool Jeep, and she shared that she was so happy that I was available and they were able to get their family photos updated. She said that they hadn’t had any whole family photos since before the youngest grandchild was born (on the right).
I love this job, where I get to document growing families and important memories that will be a keepsake for all of their lives.
As we got started, the little ones didn’t necessarily love it. It was hot… who could blame them? The girls did a phenomenal job, and we got lots of great couples photos of the moms and dads. Even Jeff and Dora played along!
Thanks, Conwells, for letting me be the one to document your growing family this year! You guys are the best!
