Sarah and Jeff’s long awaited wedding day greeted us with overcast skies and chilly temperatures, as the two tied the knot at Beck Chapel on Indiana University‘s campus. Ever since we shot their engagement photos on campus, I had been eagerly awaiting their wedding day, because I just knew campus would be gorgeous in the fall. Let me tell you… we were not disappointed. The colors of fall hung tightly to the trees, giving these two the perfect background for their portraits.

Bloomington – specifically Indiana University – holds a tight grip on Sarah and Jeff’s hearts, as they both work for IU and have studied there. They could have not chosen a better venue with so many memories and great sentiment, and it was amazing to get to capture their wedding in a place that holds so much of their love story.

Sarah and Jeff chose to have a first look prior to their ceremony, and I loved watching Jeff’s joyful reaction to seeing his beautiful bride for the first time on their wedding day. During their intimate ceremony, they asked several friends and family to share readings with their guests before their vows, which was such a sweet touch.

I enjoyed getting to know their bridal party, families, and guests during the reception, as everyone ate, drank, and danced the night away at Upland Brewery. I count it a great wedding when I feel right at home with a couple and their guests, and Sarah and Jeff did nothing less than make sure I was taken care of all night.

It was such a pleasure to watch Sarah and Jeff celebrate their love with those closest to them, and with how far their guests traveled to be present for their Indiana University wedding, it’s clear how loved these two truly are.

Sarah and Jeff, thank you for allowing me to capturing your love story and be a part of this season with you. I wish you both nothing but all the happiness in the world for the rest of your lives. Here’s to many years of adventuring together.
