Indiana University Engagement | Sarah & Jeff
Engagement sessions are always so much sweeter when my couples choose locations that are sentimental to them. For Sarah & Jeff, no where else feels quite like home than Bloomington, Indiana, where they have spent several years living life together. So when I asked Sarah about location ideas, it only made sense to have an Indiana University engagement session to document that part of their love story.
Sarah & Jeff met in North Carolina, but their education brought them both to IU. With both of their backgrounds being in science, they are a perfect match for one another, with similar interests in their career fields and love for the outdoors. To incorporate their interest in exploring nature, we took a Saturday evening to stroll through Indiana University’s campus together, stopping at Dunn Woods and Beck Chapel, where they will be married in October.
I have been dying to meet the two of them since they booked me a few months ago, and it was so fun to get to see the way they interact with one another. Sarah always had the biggest grin on her face with Jeff at her side, and they had become so natural in front of the camera by the time we wrapped up that we just got to capture them in their candid interactions, which I always love.
I enjoyed spending time just getting to know the two of them, learning about their jobs and life in Bloomington, and I loved hearing about their dreams for their future and where their careers may take them someday. There is so much to explore on campus that I can’t wait to get back down there for the gorgeous fall colors that Sarah & Jeff will have for their wedding day.
Sarah & Jeff, thanks for being willing to give me the grand tour of IU. I had a blast, and I can’t wait to document your wedding in October! Enjoy some of my favorites from your session!
