As Amanda + Mark said their vows before their family and friends, joy never escaped their faces. Standing before a wooden cross, they shared personal vows written for one another, pledging their lives to one another and their marriage to God. Their Historic Meeting House at New Garden wedding is one of my all-time favorites, and I feel so blessed that my friend Amanda chose me to document their love story.
As Amanda walked down the aisle, it was beautiful to witness tears well in Mark’s eyes. I can only imagine what he was thinking when he saw his beautiful bride walking toward him for the first time. During the ceremony, Mark and Amanda chose to have two friends lead their nearly 300 guests into worship as they entered into their new union. I feel so blessed to have witnessed such a moving moment during their amazing day.
Amanda + Mark’s wedding day at The Historic Meeting House at New Garden couldn’t have been more perfect. Though it poured rain a couple hours before the ceremony, it didn’t rain another drop the rest of the day. Amanda + Mark were surrounded by their family and closest friends – those who have made an impact on their lives individually and as a couple.
Heartfelt toasts were given at the reception by maid of honor Ashley Ridge and best man Matt Daly – making the bride and groom both laugh and cry. As the remaining guests sent Amanda + Mark off to their honeymoon in Vermont, the sun broke through the clouds, providing family and friends the most gorgeous sunset for their journeys back home.
I am so thankful that Amanda + Mark asked me to capture their beautiful wedding day and play a small part in their love story. It’s been a blessing to walk with Amanda and see her dreams come true. Congratulations to you both, and enjoy your beautiful married life!
