Cozy Bloomington Indiana Couples Session | Taylor & Blake

If you ask me, there is no better place to capture the essence of fall than southern Indiana, especially Bloomington. I’ve spent many fall weekends around Indiana University’s campus, and the colors that are on display as you walk the woods across the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. On my most recent trip, Taylor and Blake booked a couples session to get some updated portraits for their Christmas cards, and I knew immediately we’d need to head onto campus to soak up some of the beautiful colors during their Bloomington Indiana couples session.

While it was super chilly, thankfully the rain held off and we had some overcast, gray skies that made the leaves’ colors look even more prominent. Taylor and Blake did such a fantastic styling for this session, as well. Taylor chose a light tan color turtleneck sweater to keep cozy, then coordinated her top with a navy and tan plaid flannel shirt for Blake that was so striking with the fall background. It was so fun to help Taylor make sure they would look great together.

If I’m being honest, this session was also one of my favorites, because Taylor and Blake are two of our good friends, and they’ve been so gracious as to allow my husband and I to sleep over at their home in Bloomington countless times since they moved there. This session was extra special because we were able to snag a couple images at the end of the session in front of their beautiful new home!
