For Mickey, turning 30 called for an amazing Clue-themed birthday party at Laurel Hall in Indianapolis. All of her closest friends gathered to celebrate with a murder mystery dinner — all designed and engineered by the birthday girl herself.
She and her friends played the cast of the Clue game that took place after an amazing dinner at Laurel Hall. Mickey had been planning this game and party for over a year, and I was so honored when she asked me to photograph it for her. A few years ago, I photographed Mickey and Zach’s wedding in Indianapolis, so it was such a privilege to be a part of her big birthday celebration this year, too!
My associate Barb captured the event, while I was on maternity leave. The detail that Mickey put into this birthday party was incredible, and I know her friends had a blast celebrating her birthday in style. No detail went unturned, as she crafted the physical clues that were used for the game, the Clue game pieces that were adorned with each guest’s name, all the characters for the game.
While a birthday party at Laurel Hall may happen occasionally, they shared that this was the first murder mystery dinner the venue had ever hosted. The castle-like venue made for the perfect location!
Mickey had a beautiful cake from The Cakehole, decked out in black and gold to go along with the theme of the night.
What a fantastic party to celebrate an amazing person turning 30! Mickey, here’s to another decade of adventure. Enjoy the sneak peeks!
