With the sunshine pouring through the windows on a beautiful February afternoon, Nancy and Aaron got married in a gorgeous industrial Goshen wedding at Bread & Chocolate, surrounded by their family and closest friends.

For Nancy and Aaron, Bread and Chocolate has been an incredible part of their relationship story, as they first met when Aaron accompanied Nancy to a wedding she was attending at the venue two years ago. I love that they were able to celebrate their marriage by hosting their very own wedding in the same spot where they met for the first time.
Nancy and Aaron began the day getting ready at Bread and Chocolate, which is located inside The Old Bag Factory in Goshen. This venue is absolutely stunning throughout, and the light that poured in through the numerous large windows was truly a dream to get to photograph. Laughter filled the hallway as Nancy and her bridesmaids prepared themselves for the day. Once Nancy was in her dress, the room was speechless. After a few moments of looking in the mirror, the bride was ready to meet her groom for their first look.
Nancy walked toward her groom Aaron in The Gallery at Bread and Chocolate, and with a tap on the shoulder, Aaron turned around to see his bride with a smile beaming across his face. Within seconds, both Nancy and Aaron had to wipe tears from their eyes as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. After a few moments of time to take it all in, they both looked instantly relieved and ready to get married!
These two are one of the most joyful couples I’ve photographed, laughing their way through their portraits. Photographing them was effortless, because they were geniunely just so happy to be together and be marrying their best friend.
Their ceremony was so heartfelt, with friends reading scripture while they took communion together for the first time as husband and wife. Then their parents came up around the couple and prayed over them before finishing the ceremony with their first kiss.
Their reception was absolutely beautiful, with greenery lining each table and twinkle lights donning the beautiful wooden beams running through the room. Nancy and Aaron shared their first dance to “Ulysses” by Josh Garrels before dinner with their family and friends. While their guests finished dinner before toasts, we snuck out for golden hour portraits and a quick breather for Nancy and Aaron on a rather mild February evening.
After cutting their cake, they opened up the cheesecake bar, which all their guests seemed to really enjoy! They gave each guest a bag of whole bean or ground coffee as their favor, and they enjoyed dancing the rest of the night away surrounded by their family and friends.
Nancy and Aaron, it was such a joy and honor to be a part of your wedding day! You two have a joy that is absolutely infectious, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of your wedding day. I wish you both nothing but a life full of continued joy and happiness as you serve one another and the Lord together. Enjoy the sneak peeks!
